Where do you get your inspiration?
I can look for inspiration from all over from everything and everyone around me. Inspiration comes from various sources which we live every day. From visiting runway shows, people from different countries and areas to be exposed to different styles, lines etc. I like to read fashion websites and blogs as well. Through the exploration of a new set of images or information, any interesting piece of design, architecture, newspaper clippings or images can become a new place to gather information and inspiration from.
What′s your favorite part about conceptualizing a design?
Seeing it for the first time on a female body and watching it come to life from a simple sketch on a piece of paper.
You were born in Russia and moved to USA. Did this experiences influence your design aesthetic? If so, how?
